Satellite TV

For added convenience, we wire an ignition feed directly into the controller, ensuring the dish lowers automatically when you start the engine - preventing any risk of damage if you drive off without lowering it!

All electrical components come with a 12 month warranty, batteries have a 24 month warranty and our workmanship is guaranteed for 5 years.

Motorhome batteries have a shelf life of approximately 5-7 years. This is reduced further if the batteries are being fully discharged and/or being left discharged for long periods of time. As you approach 5 years you may begin to notice lights getting dimmer, inverters beeping and turning themselves off reduced water pressure and more. This is a sign that your battery may be getting old and in need of replacement. Additionally, even if you're never freedom camping but you're leaving your motorhome unused for long periods of time (such as over winter) it is a good idea to have a solar panel installed to keep the battery topped up and reduce decay.

The gas inside your AC system is hydrophilic so it absorbs ambient moisture easily. This moisture can wreak havoc on the compressor components inside the AC system and cause blockages in the valves. Additionally, automotive air conditioning systems have two filters, one of which can only be replaced when there is no gas inside the system. Some people get lucky and go for many years without servicing their vehicle however, we suggest this be done on a 3 year schedule to reduce the chance of expensive repairs.

We are based out of Sefton in North Canterbury. We are happy to come to you to diagnose issues and carry out minor repairs on site. Major overhauls such as new solar or satellite installations will need to be done at our workshop. Get in touch to discuss mileage charges to where you are staying.
